Our Story

Salon 29 began when Becky Bateman, the founder of the salon, relocated from Blythe to the Temecula Valley in 1974. She started working in a local salon and soon found herself in the position of becoming the owner of the salon she worked at. She then grew it to what is now known as Salon 29. As Becky retires, her daughter Bridget Zuniga and son Eddie Parsons have joined her in ownership of the salon. They bring a fresh perspective while maintaining the foundation of the salon.

Bridget Zuniga began her career at Salon 29 as a receptionist at the age of 17 while she attended a local beauty school. She then followed her mother’s footsteps and began working as a stylist and taking on the role as owner. Working alongside her family has driven her passion for the business and the people in it. Her hands are full, but not as full as her heart.

Eddie Parsons also began his career at Salon 29 as a receptionist. His sole responsibility now is to manage the front desk and all the schedules for the stylists, nail technicians, and estheticians. He keeps people smiling and kindly greets all who enter the salon.
